You most likely have, but if you’re struggling to remember it – because, let’s be honest, as parents of littles, sleep deprivation often leads to forgetfulness – here is a reminder:
“Do for others what you want them to do for you. This is the teaching of the laws of Moses in a nutshell” (Matthew 7:12 NLT).
Why is Golden Path Academy a “faith-based” child development center?
Simply stated, we believe that every child deserves to learn how to love others well and how to treat others with respect. In fact, one of our main goals is to give children a framework for truth, rooted in the Creator’s existence and in the Bible’s teachings of love and grace. We believe that each child is created by God on purpose, with a purpose and for a purpose.
Do you need to be a “Christian” to attend or send your child to Golden Path Academy? Of course not. That’s not the point.
The point is that we’ve strategically incorporated the core principles of scripture, known as the “Fruits of the Spirit” according to Galatians 5:22-23, throughout our programming.
The Fruits of the Spirit are: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.
We’re not interested in brainwashing anyone or building some kind of “holy huddle.” In fact, our dream is to see an increasing number of children in Loudoun County learn and own these godly principles in their lives, no matter their background, ideology or future.
Ultimately, we believe that the very best way to raise champions and world-changers for the next generation is by teaching our young ones how to love well during some of their most formative years.
